The Fix: The Temporary Truce
Ben guided Maya through the process, turning the frustration into a quick tutorial.
- Spot the Warning: Ben pointed to the small "eye" icon in the address bar (the Tracking Protection icon).
- The Toggle: He clicked it. A small dropdown appeared with the message "Third-party cookies are blocked."
- The Permission: He showed Maya the toggle switch next to "Block third-party cookies."
- The Action: "Click that toggle," Ben said. "It will switch to 'Allow' for this specific site only."

Allowing Cookies for Specific Sites:
If you only need to allow third-party cookies for specific sites, you can do so from the Cookies and site data settings:
- Follow the steps to Cookies and site data as mentioned above.
- Under Allow, click Add.
- Enter the site's URL for which you want to allow cookies and click Add.
Method 2: Chrome Versions 115–122 (With "Tracking Protection")
- Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies.
- You will see: "Tracking Protection" (limits cookies for most sites).
- Turn off Tracking Protection temporarily.
- If disabled, choose: Allow all cookies (not recommended for general browsing).
- Add site exceptions (safer):
- Click Add next to "Sites that can always use third-party cookies".
- Enter the website URL (e.g.,
[*.]example.com). - Click Add.
