If your Full DVD ISO fails to install, try these fixes:
Battery 2 Factory Library folder on the virtual DVD. Then copy that folder to your hard drive and run a "Locate Library" scan.Warning: This software requires legacy operating systems (Windows XP, Vista, or macOS 10.4 Tiger to 10.6 Snow Leopard). It is 32-bit only.
Step 1: Mount the ISO
Use WinCDEmu (Windows) or Disk Utility (Mac) to mount the file.
Step 2: Install the Application
Run Setup.exe. Select "Custom Install" to choose VST, DX, or RTAS. Note: RTAS requires Pro Tools 6.x or 7.x.
Step 3: The Library Location
The installer will ask for "DVD Volume 2." Point it to the mounted ISO drive.
Step 4: Authorization

If you have found a "Full DVD ISO" of Battery 2 and are hoping to run it on a modern studio computer (Windows 10/11 or macOS Catalina/Big Sur/Monterey), you will face significant hurdles.
Finding the Native Instruments Battery 2 – Full DVD ISO is like unearthing a time capsule of mid-2000s beat production. The kits have character, the CPU efficiency is unreal, and the RTAS integration reminds us of Pro Tools’ glory days.
But for actual music making in 2025? Battery 4, or even cheaper options like Sitala or Atlas, will be far less frustrating.
