- Download MTK USB Driver (available from SP Flash Tool official site or driver packs).
- Disable Driver Signature Verification (Windows 8/10/11):
- Restart PC → Press
Shift + Restart→ Troubleshoot → Advanced Options → Startup Settings → Restart → Press7(Disable driver signature enforcement).
- Restart PC → Press
- Install the driver: Run
install_driver.exeas Administrator. - Connect your phone (powered off) to PC. You should see MediaTek PreLoader USB VCOM Port in Device Manager (might appear for only 5 seconds – that’s normal).
