  6. During Processing: The red lamp will blink on/off. The manual states: “A clicking sound every 60–90 seconds is normal thermostat operation.”
  7. Completion: At zero, the timer clicks loudly, and the red lamp extinguishes. Do not rely on an audible bell—older units may have a silent timer.
  8. Post-Use: Raise the hood fully. Allow the unit to cool for 2 minutes before shutting off mains power (to prevent thermal shock to the quartz elements).
