Tune Your Instrument

If you are a guitarist, change your strings 24 hours before the session (new strings go out of tune quickly; 24-hour-old strings are stable). Check your intonation. The microphones in a V Music Studio will hear every buzz and fret rattle.

Pre-Production is Key

Do not write lyrics in the booth. Have your songs arranged, memorized, and rehearsed. Studio time costs money. Time spent learning a part is wasted money.
