Check the Board ID: Open the device or check the system settings to find the exact board number (e.g., H616-V3.0).

Verify the Version: Some firmware is strictly for V1.0 hardware and requires a minimum existing version (e.g., V22.03.02.XX) to install. How to Update Your Firmware Over-the-Air (OTA):

Go to Settings > Device Preferences (or About) > System Update. Click Check for Updates while connected to Wi-Fi. Manual USB Flashing: Download the .bin, .img, or .trx firmware file.

For Amlogic chips, use the Amlogic USB Burning Tool on a PC.

Put the device into Recovery Mode by holding the reset button (usually hidden inside the AV port) while plugging in the power. Import the firmware into the burning tool and click Start.

Warning: Do not power off the device during the upgrade process, as this can cause unrecoverable system failure.

Steps (Windows):

1. Install USB Burning Tool (run as admin).
2. Load firmware .img file via File → Import image.
3. Connect USB cable to PC and OTG port on TX9 Pro.
4. Short the NAND pins OR press reset button (under AV port) while connecting power.
5. Tool detects “HUB2-1” → Click Start.
6. Wait for 100% → Click Stop → Disconnect.
