Troubleshooting
- If the router becomes unresponsive after upgrade:
- Power-cycle (unplug 10s, plug back) and wait several minutes.
- Try a 30/30/30 factory reset (hold Reset ~10–15 seconds until LEDs change) if normal reset procedure is specified for this model.
- Re-upload firmware via the admin page using Ethernet.
- If web UI inaccessible but router responds to pings, try clearing browser cache or using another browser.
- If device is bricked (no LEDs, no response), contact Tenda support for RMA/repair options.
Troubleshooting Common Issues
"I uploaded the file, but it says 'Wrong Image'."
- Cause: You selected the wrong hardware version or region.
- Fix: Double check the sticker on the bottom of the device.

- Cause: The update failed or power was interrupted.
- Fix: This is a "bricked" state. You may need to use the Tenda Recovery Mode (holding reset while powering on) or contact support for a TFTP recovery.
"My internet is slower after updating."
- Cause: The reset cleared your optimized MTU or channel settings.
- Fix: Log in and run the "Quick Setup" wizard again, or manually set your Wi-Fi channel to 1, 6, or 11.
