  • Cause: Integrated GPU or outdated driver.
  • Fix: Install certified NVIDIA Quadro driver. Disable Windows Visual Effects.

Method 1: Hexagon’s Smart Support (S3)

This is the only official repository for actual SP3D binaries.

  1. Log in to Smart Support (SmartSupport.hexagonppm.com).
  2. Navigate to Software Downloads.
  3. Filter by Product: SmartPlant 3D.
  4. Filter by Version: 2018 (Version 12.00).
  5. You will see several components:
    • SP3D Core Installer
    • Database Schema
    • SP3D Admin Tools
    • SmartPlant Reference Data
  6. Download the .exe or .iso files. These are typically between 5GB and 15GB.
