4. DiSEqC 1.1 & 1.2 Stability

If you use motorized systems (USALS/DiSEqC 1.2), older firmware often loses position memory or fails to switch between 16-position switches. Newer builds fix these memory leaks.

1. Calibrate the Signal Meter

New firmware sometimes misreads 0-100% scales.

  • Go to SAT Mode > Manual Scan.
  • Point to a known strong transponder (e.g., 11720 V 28800 on Hotbird).
  • Adjust the Reference Level in the Spectrum menu until the peak reads 85-90%.
