What NOT to Do When Reporting a Login Issue
- Do not create a fake or duplicate account to report the issue. This violates Facebook’s terms and can lead to both accounts being banned.
- Do not pay third-party services promising to recover your account. Facebook’s report system is free.
- Do not spam the report button. Submitting the same report multiple times from the home page will not speed up the process; it may flag you as spam.
