The Portal de Ingreso (or Primer Ingreso) is the official digital gateway for any student seeking admission to the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM). Concurso de Selección (Selection Contest): For students from external schools. Admission depends on scoring high enough on a 120-question exam to secure a spot in their chosen career.

Pase Reglamentado (Regulated Pass): Reserved for students currently enrolled in UNAM high schools (ENP or CCH). These students enter based on their academic performance and graduation time without taking a new exam.

To begin your application, you must access the official DGAE Admission Site. The process generally involves these primary steps:

Verification: You must activate your account via a verification link sent to your email before you can log in.

Official PDF: Once you have registered and paid the examination fee (approximately $480 MXN), the corresponding PDF guide becomes available for download in your applicant portal after 24 hours.

Paso 2: Identifica tu nivel educativo

En la página principal, verás un menú o íconos claramente marcados:

• Bachillerato
• Licenciatura
• Posgrado

Da clic en el nivel que te interesa. Eso te redirigirá al micrositio específico de tu convocatoria.

Paso 5: Asignación de sede y horario

El portal automáticamente te asignará una sede, fecha y hora para el examen. Esto no es negociable. No puedes cambiarlo por tu cuenta. En caso de fuerza mayor, deberás acudir a la Dirección General de Administración Escolar (DGAE), pero es extremadamente raro que te cambien.

Paso 6: Impresión de tu pase de ingreso (Boleta)

Aproximadamente 2 semanas antes del examen, ingresas de nuevo al portal, descargas e imprimes tu "Boleta de Examen" o "Pase de Ingreso". Este documento contiene:

• Tu fotografía (asegúrate de que salga bien o que hayas subido una correcta).
• Tu nombre y folio.
• La dirección exacta de tu sede.
• El horario de tu examen (llegar con al menos 1 hora de anticipación).

Sin tu boleta impresa y una identificación oficial con foto (INE, pasaporte, credencial escolar), NO te permitirán el acceso al examen.

Paso 7: Consulta de resultados

Este es el momento más esperado. La UNAM publica los resultados en el mismo portal de ingreso en la fecha señalada en la convocatoria. Solo necesitas tu folio y fecha de nacimiento. Los resultados suelen ser:

• Aceptado: ¡Felicidades! El portal te dirá qué documentos llevar para el registro como alumno.
• No aceptado: Aparecerá tu puntaje global. A veces hay lugares disponibles en segundas vueltas o para otras carreras/planteles.
• Sujeto a revisión de documentos: Ocurre cuando hay inconsistencias en tus datos o documentos.
