The 679 Build is a specific encounter configuration for the Pokémon ROM hacks Rutile Ruby and Star Sapphire

(RR/SS), created by Dio_Vento. It is designed for players who want to catch as many different species as possible during a single playthrough.  Core Features of the 679 Build 

The primary goal of this build is to expand the variety of wild Pokémon encountered in each area while maintaining a high level of challenge.

Missing Species: The only Pokémon not available in this build are Kanto starters, Kalos starters, and Legendaries not originally found in Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire.

Difficulty Scaling: Wild Pokémon are leveled up to match the hack's increased level curve, which is balanced around the player using the Experience Share.

Optimized Hordes: Hordes in this build are specifically redesigned to facilitate early and painless EV training. Hold Items

: Many wild Pokémon have a 50% chance to hold useful items, including all 11 Fossils. For example, wild may hold a Dome Fossil, while can hold a Skull Fossil.

Mega Stones: Pokémon capable of Mega Evolution have a chance to hold their corresponding Mega Stone when encountered in the wild. Tips for a Strong Build

Installation: To use this build, copy the "a" folder from the "679 Build" directory into your "ExtractedRomFS" folder during the patching process.

Tips for a Strong Build

• Evolve Pokémon: Evolving your Pokémon can significantly increase their stats and sometimes give them new, more powerful moves.
• Move Tutor and TM/HM: Use the move tutor, TMs (Technical Machines), and HMs (Hidden Machines) to teach your Pokémon a wide range of moves. This can help cover weaknesses and adapt to different situations.
• Battle and Level Up: Regularly battle wild Pokémon and other trainers to level up your team. Higher levels mean better stats.

1. The Hoenn Pokédex Expanded
