Sometimes the serial number is displayed here. If not, hold CTRL + Shift while clicking "About" to see registration details.

Option B: The Program Database (Company File) Peachtree stores licensing information within the company file (.PTB or .PTM). Location: If you bought a physical box, the serial number is on a sticker inside the CD case or on the back of the manual.
Version Specificity: A serial number for Peachtree Premium Accounting 2010 will not work for Peachtree Complete Accounting 2010 or Peachtree Pro 2010. You must match the exact edition.
Registration vs. Installation: The serial number allows installation. However, the Product Key (a separate 6-8 digit code) was previously required for online registration—Sage discontinued those servers around 2015.
