5. Backup & change management
- Schedule automated config backups to a secure location (encrypted).
- Archive firmware images and release notes.

2. Switching to Bridge Mode (For your own router)
- Navigate to
WAN -> WAN Configuration. - Find the existing Internet connection (usually named
INTERNETorTR069_INTERNET). - Change the Connection Type from
RoutetoBridge. - Set Bridge Type to
IP_Bridged. - Warning: Your Nokia Wi-Fi will stop working. You need a second router plugged into LAN port 1.
3. Step-by-Step Access Procedure
- Hardwire Connection: Connect your PC to LAN port 1 (not Wi-Fi) to avoid session timeouts during reboots.
- Static IP (if needed): Set your PC’s IPv4 to
192.168.1.100/ Subnet255.255.255.0/ Gateway192.168.1.1. - Browser: Use Chrome or Firefox (clear cache first). Navigate to
http://192.168.1.1. - Login: Enter Super Admin credentials above. If
adminfails, trysuperadmin. - If locked out: Perform a hard factory reset (see Section 6).
Solution 1: Try the Hash Decryption Trick (Advanced)
Some ISPs leave a password hash in the source code of the login page.
- Right-click on the login page background and select View Page Source.
- Press
Ctrl + Fand search forpasswordorpwd. - Sometimes you will see a line looking like
value="dGVzdA=="or a hex string. - If it looks like gibberish ending in
==, it is likely Base64 encoded. Copy the string inside the quotes and use an online Base64 decoder to reveal the password.

The Factory Reset Fix

- Locate the reset pinhole on the back of the Nokia G-1425G-A.
- With the device powered on, hold the reset button for exactly 15 seconds (not 5, not 30).
- Release. The device will revert to the ISP’s default configuration—including the default Super Admin password.
