📖 STORY MODE ADDITION (Fictional DLC Chapter)

The modpack also injects a short bonus campaign called “The Karma Prologue”:

Boruto, Sarada, and Mitsuki chase after him, but Isshiki Otsutsuki descends. Play through 5 battles: 🆕 NEW PLAYABLE CHARACTERS | Character | Moveset

6. Disclaimer

Modifying game files carries a risk of corrupting your data. Always ensure you have a backup of your original game files before installing the modpack. This guide is for educational purposes regarding the use of homebrew on owned hardware.

Broken (Known Bugs):

  • Ninja World Tournament Mode crashes on Wave 4 if you use any Boruto character. Use Naruto (The Last) to bypass.
  • Costume 3 for Sarada causes the game to freeze during her Ultimate Jutsu animation.
  • English Dub is incomplete – Boruto characters speak Japanese only (Subbed).

Part 5: Performance Analysis on PS3 Hardware

Given the PS3’s 256MB of RAM and 256MB of VRAM, how well does this mod run?

  • Base PS3 (Fat/Slim): 25-30 FPS during 1v1. Drops to 20 FPS during Karma activation. Acceptable.
  • PS3 Super Slim (Later models): Stable 30 FPS. The V4 update optimized the texture compression (DDS files) specifically for the Super Slim's slightly faster RSX.
  • SSD Upgrade: Highly recommended. The mod loads 150+ high-res character portraits. An SSD cuts load times from 12 seconds to 4 seconds.

Visual Fidelity: The characters are ripped from Storm 4 (PS4) and downscaled. They look slightly jagged on a 4K TV, but on a 720p monitor, they look native.
