Chapter 10 acts as a microcosm of this theme. It reminds the audience that while the Hero stole the "glory" and the "girls," he cannot steal the protagonist's will. The raw emotions displayed in the artwork—often devoid of heavy dialogue in the raw scans—convey a transition from a victim mentality to that of a dark avenger.

Kaito doesn’t rush the fortress. Instead, he walks into a neutral guild town. The twist? He has given up on being the "Hero." He registers under a false name: The Corpse.
A massive armored general confronts him in the street, mocking him for losing his women. In most mangas, this would be a training arc. In NetoraYuusha, Kaito smiles. He pulls out a cursed item (looks like a black whistle) from the very first dungeon they ever raided. the former knight captain
He blows it.
Page 14 is a double-page spread. The sky turns blood red. The general’s army of goblins and orcs suddenly stop, turn around, and bow to Kaito. The raw text bubbles are garbled, but the message is clear: He has become a new kind of Evil.
The chapter opens not with Lute, but with Caelus’s new party. The "stolen" women—now referred to as the Hero’s Harem—are shown arguing. Seraphina, the former knight captain, confronts Lilia (Lute’s ex-fiancée). Seraphina admits she joined Caelus under a magical charm, not true love. This is the first hint that Caelus’s methods aren’t just seduction; they involve mental manipulation.
Lilia slaps Seraphina, calling her a traitor to Lute’s memory. The tension is palpable. Caelus watches from a balcony, smirking, revealing he wants them to fight because their negative emotions fuel his hero’s blessing.
