For Classic Mafia II (Steam/GoG):

Backup your scripts folder. Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Mafia II. Copy the pc folder to your desktop as a backup.
Download a Script Hook. Most ragdoll mods require Mafia2ScriptHook.dll. Download the latest version and place it in the Mafia II\pc directory.
Download the Mod Files. Extract the ragdoll.ini and physics.ini files from your chosen mod archive.
Overwrite: Place the extracted files into Mafia II\pc\scripts\. If folders don’t exist, create them.
Launch & Test. Start a new game or load a save. Pull out a pistol, aim at a pedestrian’s leg (morally ambiguous, technically effective). If they grab their wound and then collapse naturally, it works.
