Legacy 2: The Ancient Curse is a 6–8 hour adventure if you solve puzzles unaided. This text walkthrough covers 100% of items and choices. The key to the game is patience: examine every object twice, and always read found journal pages—they contain the numeral and sound mirror solutions explicitly.

Tips & Tricks
- Save often. Particularly before the sarcophagus puzzle and the final choice.
- Sound cues matter. In the Temple of Echoes, each disk makes a different pitch – the correct alignment hums.
- Curse meter: If your screen turns green at edges, you’re cursed. Use Moonwater (drink directly) to delay transformation.
- Alternate ending: To get the best ending (“True Sacrifice”), you must not use your own blood in the ritual. Use a jungle snake’s venom instead (catch snake in Chapter 3 with bag). This saves John but kills the snake god.
Chapter 2: Bell Tower – Raven Skull
- Go to Bell Tower (outside church, climb ladder).
- HOS: Find Copper Wire, Pliers, Gear.
- Use pliers to remove broken bell clapper → insert gear to fix mechanism.
- Pull rope → bell rings → a secret niche opens → take Raven Skull.
Collectibles & Achievements
- Relic Fragments: 8 total — collecting all unlocks the “True Restorer” epilogue.
- Archives: 24 pages hidden in estates and caverns — grant lore and crafting bonuses.
- Secret endings: Two secret epilogues unlocked by fulfilling both the scholar’s arc and saving the Forger.
Common Pitfalls (and how to avoid them)
- Ignoring side quests: Many late-game upgrades require side missions—complete them early.
- Not managing corruption: Stay near purified places or use resistance potions.
- Reckless reforging: Choose durability if you struggle with repair scarcity; choose power if you conserve resources.
Chapter 2: The Sunken Grotto
This area is a flooded cavern with four stone pillars. In the center is a sealed sarcophagus with a frog-shaped indentation. Generic Walkthrough: Legacy of the Ancient Curse (v2)

Clues found:
- A glyph on the wall: three drops of water turning into a skull.
- A skeleton holding a Bronze Key (out of reach across water).
- A broken waterwheel mechanism on the far right.
Objective: Drain the water to get the key. Phase 1 : Blocks with shield → parry or use magic
Puzzle 1 – Water Level Control
Behind the left pillar is a series of valves. The solution is based on the glyph pattern: Middle valve – Right valve – Left valve twice.
- Turn middle valve until water stops bubbling.
- Turn right valve (you’ll hear a stone grind).
- Turn left valve twice fast – the water drains completely.
Retrieve the Bronze Key. Use it to unlock the chest near the sarcophagus. Inside: Stone Frog Figurine (missing its right eye).
Puzzle 2 – Frog Statue
Place the frog figurine on the sarcophagus indentation. The mouth opens. Insert a Glowing Jewel? You don’t have one yet. But note: the frog’s missing eye socket is exactly jewel-sized.
Exit via the eastern tunnel (new path opens after draining water).
