1. The Windows Driver (WinXP to Windows 10)

The core of the software is the Windows printer driver. Unlike a standard inkjet printer, the Sword XP10 uses a proprietary driver that translates vector paths into cutting commands (HP-GL or DMPL).

• Port configuration (COM1, COM2, LPT1, or USB-to-serial adapters)
• Speed and force presets
• Knife offset compensation
• Tool selection (knife, pen, or scriber)

Compatibility note: The official Jertech drivers were designed for Windows 98, 2000, and XP. However, many users have successfully installed them on Windows 7, 8, and even 10 using compatibility mode.
