Serving

When window open and player stopped, customers queue. Service time = baseServiceTime * (1 + complexityModifier(order)).
If stock insufficient, customer may accept substitution or leave (lost sale).


Inventory & Restock

Stock tracked in units per product. Restock at depot between days or during breaks (cost + time).
Perishables: a spoilage rate per day; unsold stock at day end is lost (cost).


Economics

Revenue = sum(orders * price). Costs = ingredient cost per unit, fuel per km, staff/time cost, fines, restock cost.
Profit = revenue - costs. Goal: reach target profit or survive X days.


Random Events

Weather: sunny/rainy/windy reduces/increases footfall.
Breakdown: random chance; repair cost and time.
Inspection: fine if hygiene low or illegal stops frequent.


Player Progression

Unlock upgrades: faster van, larger freezer, marketing to attract customers, new menu items.


UI & Controls

HUD: time, cash, stock, current segment, active customers, reputation.
Simple controls: accelerate/brake, open/close window, select items and prices, restock button.
