4. Disguises Are Your Best Friend, But Not Infallible

• Enforcers (NPCs with a white dot above their head in Instinct) can see through your disguise. Avoid them.
• Trespassing zones will get you escorted out or attacked. Act natural and leave if caught.
• Changing disguises often is safer than sticking to one risky outfit.

Best disguises per mission type:

• Security guard — access most areas, carry weapons openly.
• Waiter/chef — poison food/drinks easily.
• Technician — sabotage devices, access control rooms.

What You Do NOT Get (Without Upgrades)

• Hitman 2's Expansion Pass maps (New York, Haven Island) are not included in the standard World of Assassination base package — you must buy the Deluxe Edition or Add-on Bundle.
• Seven Deadly Sins is separate DLC.
• The Sarajevo Six (originally PS4-exclusive for H1) is being added to all platforms, but check current status.

Gameplay Mechanics: The Peak of the Trilogy

Hitman 3 doesn’t reinvent the wheel, but it polishes every spoke. The core loop remains: infiltrate, disguise, and eliminate. However, several key improvements make this the best-playing entry. Hitman 3

• The Camera: A new multi-tool tool that can hack devices, reveal electronic trails, and zoom for reconnaissance. It replaces the old clumsy phone hacks.
• Shortcuts: Once you unlock a door or ladder from the inside, it remains unlocked for future playthroughs. This encourages replayability and lets veterans skip tedious routes.
• Gloom and Tall Grass: For the first time in the trilogy, hiding in tall grass or shadows is viable. This reduces the over-reliance on disguises, offering a more traditional stealth option.
• VR Support (PC/PS VR): At launch, PS VR was a novelty. Later updates added PC VR, allowing you to strangle targets with your own hands. It is janky but transformative.

• Engine: Glacier (proprietary IOI engine, upgraded for ray tracing and HDR)
