Gujarati Keyboard Lmg Arun Font -
Feature spec — Gujarati keyboard using LMG Arun font
Goal: Add a Gujarati input keyboard that uses the LMG Arun typeface for display and output, supporting desktop and mobile, with correct Unicode mapping and typing features.
Problem 2: "The text looks correct in MS Word but scrambles when I paste it into a web browser."
- Cause: You are likely using a legacy (non-Unicode) version of LMG Arun. Older LMG Arun used custom encoding (like Kutch or Shruti encoding). The web only understands Unicode.
- Solution: Download the Unicode-compliant version of LMG Arun. If you have legacy documents, you will need a converter tool (like "Shruti to Unicode converter") to migrate them.
5) Data & resources
- Gujarati Unicode chart reference for mappings.
- LMG Arun license verification (ensure web embedding permitted).
- Gujarati lexicon (~50k words) for suggestions (opt-in).
Step 2: Add the Gujarati Keyboard (IME)
To type Gujarati letters using LMG Arun, you need a keyboard layout. We recommend the Gujarati (InScript) layout. gujarati keyboard lmg arun font
