Matrix licenses are often sold by retiring jewelers. You can legally buy a license from a third party and ask Stuller to transfer it.
Stuller no longer sells new licenses for Matrix 7. However, they do offer license transfers. If you buy a used license from a retiring jeweler, Stuller will legally transfer the HASP dongle and download link to you for a small fee ($150–$300).
Older perpetual licenses for Matrix 7 still work. Newer software requires monthly fees. This is the primary driver behind the "Matrix 7 download" search volume.
Assuming you legally obtain the installer, you must have the correct hardware. Matrix 7 is picky. Option B: Purchase a Used License (License Transfer)

Critical Note: Matrix 7 does not work on Windows 11 natively. It does not work on Apple Silicon Macs (M1/M2) without a Windows 10 ARM VM. It does not work on Rhino 6 or 7.

Matrix 7 had a final SR (Service Release) number 7.5. If your installer is older, ask Stuller for the 7.5 update patch. This fixes the "dynamic section preview crash."
