The FIFA PC modding scene has received a significant quality-of-life upgrade with the release of FIFA Mod Manager v1.10. While not a flashy "gameplay" patch, this update addresses critical backend functionality that modders have been requesting for months.
Let’s be honest—the old interface felt like a database admin tool from 2010. V1.10 has undergone a visual facelift with the "Quick Edit" sidebar. Instead of dragging and dropping files, you now get a live preview pane. Want to swap a generic ad board for a Nike one? For creators, the "One-Click Export" to a shareable .fifamod file has been compressed. A 2GB face pack now exports in roughly 90 seconds—down from nearly five minutes in v1.09. FIFA Mod Manager v1
The "v110" update (build 1.1.0) focuses on stability and EA App compatibility: Fix: Go to Settings -> Select FIFA EXE
For those new to the scene, FIFA Mod Manager (often abbreviated as FMM) is the successor to the classic Frosty Mod Manager. It is the essential launcher for modded versions of FIFA 22, FIFA 23, and EA Sports FC 24. Unlike Frosty, FMM handles the complex Cas.cat cache management automatically, allowing users to load multiple large mods (kits, faces, databases) without constant file conflicts.
The most significant change in this update is broader compatibility. While previous versions focused heavily on older legacy titles, v1.1.0 refines support for newer Frostbite-era entries. This includes better stability for FIFA 22 and FIFA 23, as well as legacy support for titles like FIFA 19. This ensures that as the player base migrates to the newest EA Sports FC titles, the older games remain accessible and moddable for those who prefer them.
