Collections on itch.io like the one by the curator Piu are well-known hubs for specific niche genres. In this case, this usually refers to "Weight Gaming" or "WG" games.
Here is why posts and collections like that are often considered "good" by the community:
1. Curation in a Niche Market Itch.io is a massive open marketplace, which means there are thousands of games and it can be hard to find specific themes. Curators like Piu perform a valuable service by sifting through the noise to highlight quality titles that focus on specific kinks or themes (like weight gain, expansion, or transformation) that you wouldn't find on mainstream stores like Steam.
2. The "Interactive Fiction" Appeal Many games in these collections are text-based (often made with Twine or Ren'Py) or 2D visual novels.
- Community Aspect: These games are often labors of love created by solo developers who are part of the community.
- Feedback Loop: "Good posts" or collections allow players to give direct feedback to developers, helping shape the future of the game.
3. Discoverability If you liked that collection, you might also enjoy browsing the "Visual Novel" or "Interactive Fiction" tags on itch.io with specific keywords. Many developers in this niche community cross-promote their work through these curated lists.
It is great when you find a curator whose taste aligns with yours—it saves a lot of time searching and lets you get straight to playing!

- Respect licensing: creators set usage rights; don’t redistribute paid content without permission.
Body Horror or Body Euphoria?
Where mainstream gaming often uses fatness as a signifier of sloth (think GTA’s NPCs or Borderlands’ mockery), the games in this collection oscillate between two poles: tender transformation and deliberate discomfort.
One standout piece is a psychological visual novel titled “Hollow Plate.” In it, a protagonist’s weight gain is accompanied by whispered memories of a grandmother who equated food with love. The gameplay involves choosing how much to eat at family dinners, with branching narratives that explore restriction, rebellion, and recovery. It is not cozy. It is cathartic.
Another, “Pudding RPG,” is pure absurdist joy: you are a sentient blob of dessert exploring a fridge, and each lost fight makes you absorb your enemy’s calories, increasing your size until you can no longer fit through dungeon doors. The mechanic of “larger = less mobile but more powerful” reframes bigness as a strategic trade-off rather than a failure state.
For creators who want to be included or make similar collections

- Provide previews, a short demo, and specify platform requirements.
- If you want to be featured, contact the curator (if contact info is provided) or share your work in relevant communities.
What is the "Fat and weight gain - Collection by Piu"?
The collection is exactly what it says on the tin. Curated by a user named Piu (who is also a game developer known for titles like Feeder Marathon and Inflation Simulator), this public itch.io collection aggregates a variety of free and paid games, demos, and assets that all share a central mechanical or thematic pillar: a character’s body mass increasing over time as a result of eating, a magical accident, a science experiment gone wrong, or a deliberate lifestyle change.
Unlike the polished, action-driven titles on Steam or Epic Games Store, the games in Piu’s collection are often raw, text-heavy, and mechanically simple. Many are built in Twine (for interactive fiction), RPG Maker, or Ren’Py (for visual novels). The gameplay loop frequently involves managing hunger, eating high-calorie foods, and watching as character sprites or descriptive text evolves to reflect a larger body size.
Some key titles you’ll find in this collection include:
- "Stuffing Simulator" – A clicker-style game where you feed a character various foods, tracking calorie intake and watching their weight and waistline statistics rise.
- "The Curse of Gluttony" – A fantasy visual novel where a magical curse (or blessing, depending on the player’s choices) causes the protagonist to gain weight after every meal.
- "Roommate Weight Gain" – A slow-burn simulation game where your choices influence an unsuspecting roommate’s diet and exercise habits.
- "Feeder Marathon" (by Piu themselves) – A competitive eating and weight gain game with a satirical, almost arcade-like feel.
Beyond the Scale: Exploring Body Image and Appetite in Piu’s Curated Itch.io Collection
In the vast, chaotic library of Itch.io—a platform celebrated for its weird, wonderful, and deeply personal indie games—curation is an act of intimacy. When a user named Piu assembles a collection simply tagged “Fat and weight gain,” it is not a fetish catalogue nor a medical pamphlet. It is a mirror.
This collection, a hand-picked digital shelf of interactive experiences, challenges the gaming industry’s long-standing obsession with lithe action heroes and calorie-free power-ups. Instead, Piu’s picks ask uncomfortable, tender, and sometimes whimsical questions: What if your body changed? What if getting bigger was the goal? What if weight was not a punishment, but a mechanic?
Hello
We are company of medical device type II (sterelised needle) .Level of packagings are as following:
1 ) blister (direct packaging)
2) Dispenser 30 or 100 units
3) Shelf (about 1400 dispensers)
4) Shipper same as shelf (protective carton)
1)What is the alternative at blister packaging level , if we not indicate the manufacturer details : IFU, UDI etc is allow instead ?
2) same questions on Shipper level : what is the laternative ?
In Europe,US, Canada, turkie ?
3) What are the symbol that are mandatory according with packaging level?
Dear Nathalie,
the labeling on the sterile barrier system (SBS) – I assume in your case blister level, as these maintain the sterility of your device – is regulated either by the MDR (in Europe and also Türkiye) or by the recognized consensus standard ISO 11607-1 (EU, Türkiye, USA and Canada). In any case, the regulations require the manufacturer details directly on the SBS, there is no alternative.
Or are your devices not sold individually but only in the dispensers as the point of use? Then this dispenser could be considered as the outer protective packaging of your SBS and carry all required information.
The shipping packaging is only intended for transport and thus is not considered an additional packaging level, and as such is not required to fulfill any regulatory requirements. However, in certain cases (e.g. customs) a clear indication of the manufacturer is required to make the shipment traceable.
The information required on the packaging can be found in the MDR and 21 CFR part 801 as well as ISO 11607-1, the corresponding symbols in ISO 15223-1.
Let us know if we should discuss this in more detail in a short workshop, based specifically on your own device.
Kind regards
Christopher Seib
