But it also reflects an industry failure. Kaabil clashed at the box office with Raees (Shah Rukh Khan) in 2017. Both films lost crores to piracy. Yet here we are, years later, and the .HDRip still haunts the internet—because the convenience of a free download still beats the friction of a paid login.
