Feature: Download Driver — Thermal Receipt Printer CX58D
Microsoft Update Catalog (Windows only)
For Windows 10/11, plug in the printer, go to Settings > Windows Update > Advanced Options > Optional Updates. Microsoft may host a signed driver.
Fixing Common Issues
Problem: It prints garbled symbols or tiny font. Fix: You are using the wrong driver. Uninstall it and reinstall the 64-bit version if you have Windows 11. Also, in Printer Properties, set the Paper Size to 58mm x 297mm (or 58 x 200).
Problem: The printer feeds paper but prints nothing. Fix: The thermal paper is upside down. Flip the roll. The coated side must face the thermal print head (usually toward the top of the printer).
Problem: "Driver is unavailable" in Device Manager. Fix: The CX58D uses a CH340 or PL2303 serial-to-USB chip. You may need to install the CH340 driver first (available from the manufacturer’s official site).
