Step 3: Installation

  1. Unzip the Shimeji-EE engine anywhere (e.g., C:\Shimeji).
  2. Inside the engine folder, locate the /img/ folder.
  3. Inside /img/, there is a folder called chii. This is the default demo character.
  4. Delete or rename chii.
  5. Take your downloaded character folder (e.g., my_goku_shimeji) and place it inside /img/.
  6. Rename your character folder to chii. (The engine only looks for a folder named chii by default, though some launchers let you switch).
