As of late 2024, the scene is quiet but not dead. A group called "The Colonial Brotherhood" is working on a total conversion mod called "AC Rogue: The Lost Years," which aims to add 10 new mission sequences set between the end of Rogue and Shay’s cameo in Unity. Creator: Teancum Vanilla Rogue ties physics to frame rate. If you run the game over 60 FPS, ship cannons reload too fast, and the camera shakes violently. This mod decouples the framerate from the engine timestep.
For performance mods, you will need to edit Assassin.ini and Assassin4.ini (yes, the game internally calls itself AC4). Change:
